You have to tell someone that you're experiencing problems. You've got to let someone know what's going on. Those close to you are not mind readers, they may see through your actions that something is not quite right, but they will not understand the depth of it unless you share with them. Those who are there to help with an anxiety attack need you to share with them what's happening. Find someone you trust.

One of the hardest things is trusting people. To trust someone with your inner feelings and thoughts. There is always the worry that they won't want to listen, or they will throw it back at you. We've all got problems, but if you are suffering from anxiety, life is even more difficult. In fact it can be share hell.

Don't underestimate what you are going through. You need to seek help! Don't think you can fix this all by yourself. Today a lot more is known about anxiety and depression. It is more acceptable to talk about it. The days are gone when you might feel it's not right to talk about the emotional stuff.

Often you may find that somehow you summon the energy to look and act good when around other people. This is not unusual in these circumstances. Adrenalin is a wonderful thing. But once you are alone again, your mind and body just crash around you. Much of the time your mind and body will find a way to mask the problems when with other people.

Life is fragile. Sometimes we feel great about ourselves, and confident, and other times we fall and we're vulnerable and we need support. Because of your anxiety you probably feel you are weak and unstable. That you have faults and deficiencies. That people will see through you and see these as faults.

You may need more support than you think. Please seek help with an anxiety attack.

Tell a close family member or friend what is going on. Talk to a few people until you find someone who will be totally there for you and ready to help. They may not understand exactly what is happening to you, but they will understand that you need support, kindness and love. Another area you should look to for help is with medical professionals. Many of them know about this. They can prescribe counseling or medication. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. There are also very good ways of addressing anxiety through natural ways. Look through the internet for some very good articles and recommended ways. There is so much help available, so many good mental health professionals and help programs.

Don't get to the stage where you think you can't carry on much longer.

Many times when we do reach out, we eventually realize that we should have done this sooner than we have. You may always wonder if things would have been different if you'd asked for help right at the beginning.

It's hard when you have symptoms like staying awake all night, shaking and trembling, difficulty in breathing, sweats and thinking bad thoughts.

Decide that you're not going to let this beat you. Be kind to yourself. The right self talk is important.

Start putting the pieces back together again. Maybe find a psychologist you can work with. If you don't find one first off (which many of us don't), keep trying - eventually you will meet someone who you can work with. Someone who understands you. The more people you have around you who you can share with the better.

Go to the person you trust the most and start talking. Tell them you're in trouble and need help. Find someone who is prepared to help with an anxiety attack.
